Core Job Summary

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for maximizing the uptime, reliability, and safety of all manufacturing equipment-including CNC fiber lasers, multi-axis press brakes, automated powder coat lines, curing ovens, and facility utility infrastructure. The role requires a highly technical, multi-craft leader who understands industrial electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics ensuring all high-value assets run continuously, managing spare parts budgets and utility networks to prevent production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Design, implement, and audit strict daily, weekly, and monthly PM schedules for all high-value machinery
• Critical Spare Parts Inventory: Establish and maintain a secure spare parts inventory system, ensuring critical long-lead items) are always in stock.
• Emergency Breakdown Response: Quick troubleshooting and repair of sudden equipment failures, minimizing Mean Time Repair during unexpected line stoppages.
• Utility & Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee the plant's high-capacity utility infrastructure and different auxiliaries.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Contract and supervise external OEM service engineers for specific machinery overhauls.
• Safety & Compliance Audits: Ensure total compliance with environmental regulations regarding chemical wash disposal, explosive powder dust mitigation, and machine safeguarding (OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout protocols).

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Experience: 7+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience within a precision sheet metal fabrication or CNC machining
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of PLC logic troubleshooting, CNC machine programming interfaces, hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagnostics…etc
• High-Pressure Leadership: Ability to stay organized, and decisive during major facility breakdowns to guide technicians safely and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Language: Strong command of English or Arabic.
