Job Title: Medical Director

Department: Medical Services

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Summary

The Medical Director is responsible for providing strategic and clinical leadership across the organization's medical services. The role oversees clinical governance, physician performance, quality of care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting operational excellence and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality medical services across the organization
• Lead clinical governance, physician engagement, credentialing, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical strategies that support organizational objectives and operational performance
• Monitor clinical quality indicators, patient safety measures, and regulatory compliance, implementing corrective actions where required
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, ethical practices, and applicable healthcare regulations

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Valid professional classification and registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory authority
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, including senior leadership or medical management responsibilities
• Extensive healthcare or hospital leadership experience is required
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality management, healthcare regulations, and physician leadership
• Fluency in Arabic and English languages
