Position: Lecturer in Mathematics - Foundation Year Program

Department: Academic Affairs | Foundation Year Program

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)

The Opportunity:

Kingdom University invites applications from outstanding mathematics educators to join its Foundation Year Program.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to student success through the delivery of high-quality mathematics instruction and active participation in curriculum development and academic initiatives. Successful candidates will prepare students in Business, Engineering, and Information & Communication Technology for the challenges of university-level study while contributing to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality instruction in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Applied Statistics

Design structured, outcomes-driven lesson plans using evidence-based pedagogical approaches

Foster a challenging yet inclusive learning environment that develops mathematical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities

Provide individualized academic support through office hours, advising, and mentoring

Develop and administer rigorous assessments with timely, constructive feedback

Contribute to curriculum design, review, and continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate with Foundation Year faculty to ensure coherent, coordinated course delivery

Maintain accurate academic records and uphold institutional standards of excellence

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Mathematics Education from an internationally accredited university

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at preparatory or undergraduate level

Deep subject matter expertise in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus

Native English speaker - all instruction is delivered in English

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline

Experience teaching in international or English-medium academic environments

Proficiency in active learning, flipped classroom, or blended learning methodologies

Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital assessment platforms
