Role Summary: The Seal Shoulder Inspector performs visual and dimensional inspections of pipes to verify compliance with company and customer requirements. The role is responsible for determining product quality status, ensuring product identification and traceability, reporting quality issues, supporting the threading process, performing VDI activities, and maintaining inspection equipment, gauges, tools, and the inspection area in proper working condition.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and basic thread dimensional inspections of pipes in accordance with applicable AMJ and customer requirements (e.g., SOPs, QWIs, SAP Purchase Orders, POCs) while meeting established productivity and quality KPIs.
• Determine the quality status of inspected pipes based on inspection results and accurately record inspection findings.
• Ensure product identification and traceability in accordance with AMJ procedures.
• Report quality, safety, or equipment performance issues promptly to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform support activities for the threading process, including deburring, chip removal, and other related tasks.
• Perform VDI activities as assigned.
• Maintain the inspection area, gauges, and tools in proper working condition by reporting maintenance issues, performing autonomous maintenance, and following 5S practices.
• Execute assigned tasks efficiently while following the direction of the immediate supervisor.
• Perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with the job description, company procedures, work instructions, and applicable documentation.
• Maintain procedures, work instructions, and other controlled documents under own responsibility.
• Contribute effectively as a team member toward achieving AMTPJ's quality objectives, business goals, and strategic direction.
• Support AMTPJ's continual improvement initiatives to meet customer requirements, applicable legal requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, as required.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company's Health, Safety, Environment, and Integrated Management System (HSE-IMS) requirements.
• Identify hazards, report risks, and support initiatives that improve HSE performance.

Education & Experience:

• Technical School, Technical College, Industrial High School, or Secondary School graduate.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Control department within the seamless steel tube industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of inspection techniques and inspection report preparation.

Skills:

• Knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret inspection procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety requirements, autonomous maintenance, and 5S practices.
