The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations on-site for construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and within project timelines. The role involves leading a team of engineers, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and solving technical issues on-site. With over 10 years of experience, the Senior Site Engineer must demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the construction process, especially in complex or large-scale projects.

• Site Management: Supervise the daily operations of the construction site, ensuring that work progresses according to the project schedule and within the scope of work.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance on-site and solve any engineering problems or discrepancies that arise.
• Team Leadership: Manage, guide, and mentor junior engineers and construction teams to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with quality standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Coordination: Collaborate with the project manager, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that all work aligns with project plans and specifications.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient site operations.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities on-site comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and safety briefings.
• Budget Monitoring: Track project costs, manage site expenses, and work with the project manager to control and reduce costs where possible.
• Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, including schedule updates, challenges, and milestones, to the project manager and senior management.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues or delays early on and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Subcontractor Management: Supervise the performance of subcontractors to ensure they meet contract requirements and deadlines.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site activities, materials used, and any changes to plans or timelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction site management or site engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior position.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in commercial, residential, or industrial sectors (preferably with experience in construction or real estate development).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with all stakeholders (team, clients, contractors, suppliers, etc.).
