Role Description The Planning Engineer - SA will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules for ICT and construction-related initiatives in Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site role includes coordinating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely resource allocation, monitoring progress, and identifying risks and deviations from planned timelines. The Planning Engineer will prepare reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support project control and decision-making, while optimizing production planning and workflow efficiency. The role involves regular communication with internal stakeholders and clients, supporting adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Planning and Production Planning skills to develop, update, and optimize project schedules and resource plans.
- Advanced Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to track performance, manage risks, and support data-driven decisions.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present clear project updates and reports.
- Experience in ICT, construction, or related engineering environments, with familiarity in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Saudi Arabia, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, safety practices, and contractual procedures is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
