General Manager - Pre-Opening Hotel | Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia

Outstanding Pre-Opening General Manager Opportunity

JWR is delighted to be supporting an international hotel group with the appointment of an experienced General Manager for an exciting new-build hotel development in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia.

Located within one of the Kingdom's most ambitious leisure and entertainment destinations, this is a rare opportunity to lead a hotel from pre-opening through to launch, playing a key role in creating a successful operation from the ground up.

The successful candidate will join during the pre-opening phase and take responsibility for building the leadership team, developing the hotel's culture and preparing the property for a successful opening in 2027.

The Role

As General Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the hotel through its complete pre-opening journey.
• Recruiting, developing and inspiring a high-performing team.
• Creating the operational culture, service standards and guest experience.
• Building strong relationships with ownership and key stakeholders.
• Driving the commercial strategy and overall business performance.
• Ensuring the hotel is fully operational and ready for a successful opening.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with General Managers who can demonstrate:

• Current or recent General Manager experience within Saudi Arabia - essential.
• Fluent Arabic - essential.
• Proven experience within family leisure, resort or destination-led hospitality.
• Experience working for an international hotel company or recognised global brand.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian hospitality market.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working closely with ownership.
• Previous hotel pre-opening experience would be highly advantageous.
• A hands-on, engaging leadership style with a passion for developing people and building strong hotel cultures.

The Package

A competitive expatriate package is available in the region of SAR 40,000-45,000 net per month, inclusive of expatriate benefits.

Schooling support may also be considered where appropriate.
