Role Description The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also involves managing accounts payable and receivable, supporting audits, improving internal controls, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, working closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to maintain accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including expertise in general ledger, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
• Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within media, education, or content-focused organizations, is beneficial.
