Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineering Coordinator / Document Controller to support our engineering team with document management, administrative coordination, and project support activities. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 3 years of experience who are looking to build a career in engineering support and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, organize, and control engineering and project documentation.
- Ensure documents are accurately filed, updated, and distributed in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the engineering and project teams.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
- Manage document submissions through client and contractor portals where required.
- Track document revisions, approvals, and project correspondence.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely submission of project deliverables.
- Maintain document registers and support project reporting activities.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
- Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in document control, administrative support, proposal preparation, or portal management is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a project-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with document control systems or electronic document management systems (EDMS) is an advantage.
- Understanding of engineering documentation and project workflows.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
