Job Purpose:

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for electrical panels, wiring, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation while supporting continuous production and complying with QHSE standards.

Responsibilities:

Planning:

• Full knowledge of electrical panels.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and connections.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Ability to detect faults and repair them.

Execution:

• Review job orders to determine work priorities.
• Confer with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of parts and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.

Research & Development:

• Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
• Study current equipment and machinery to recommend solutions to improve efficiency and stability.
• Develop innovative solutions to reduce operating costs.
• Identify and capture opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.

People Management:

• Monitor the performance of maintenance personnel.
• Ensure that junior staff are adequately trained.
• Direct training and induction of workers to improve work performance and familiarize them with company policies and procedures.

QHSE:

• Follow QHSE procedures while setting up, welding, and handling materials.
• Perform safety checks on equipment before work.
• Use adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) according to the job requirements, such as helmets, gloves, goggles, safety shoes, etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or Diploma.

With minimum 5 years relevant experience
