The Supervisor
(Pest Control) at Rentokil Boecker®is responsible for overseeing daily field operations and leading a team of Technicians to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of pest management services. The role monitors service performance, supports team development, ensures compliance with company procedures, Health & Safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, and promotes operational excellence while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Rentokil Boecker® Supervisor is held accountable for the below job responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, Health & Safety (H&S), quality management requirements, and applicable legal regulations.
- Ensure all pest control services are completed safely, effectively, and in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and lead by example in maintaining safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with customer site rules, contractor requirements, and permit-to-work systems, where applicable.
- Verify that technicians use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and maintain it in good condition.
- Oversee the safe handling, transportation, storage, and disposal of pesticides and related materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Supervise the application of pesticides, rodenticides, fumigants, and non-chemical control measures in line with approved procedures and product label instructions.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed when working at heights, in confined spaces, or within operational industrial environments, where applicable.
- Review and verify risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and safety requirements before work begins.
- Conduct field safety inspections and behavioral safety observations to promote compliance and continuous improvement.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up with the Line Manager.
- Participate in and promote all required Health & Safety training sessions.
- Comply with and promote the company's and legal driving safety regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of company vehicles, application
equipment, and tools, and ensure defective equipment is reported and addressed promptly.
- Review and verify the accuracy and completion of inspection records, service documentation,
And Other Required Operational Records.
- Monitor chemical handling, storage, transportation, and disposal activities to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum high school education, up to a college degree in any field (company provides training).
- 3-5 years of experience in handling and leading teams, in a pest control company.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Successful completion of the H&S Onboarding Training Course.
- Valid driving license (applicable to employees assigned driving duties).
