AV / LCD TV / SDA Technician

Location: Jeddah & Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Purpose

The AV / LCD TV / SDA Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining LCD TVs and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA). This role requires strong technical expertise in component-level repairs, field service, software updates, and customer support while ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer standards and company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair LCD TVs at the component level.
• Perform backlight replacement and repair LCD panel vertical line issues using COF bonding and laser bonding machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), including:
• Coffee machines
• Robot vacuum cleaners
• Steam irons
• Kitchen appliances
• Other household appliances
• Carry out field service visits to customer locations for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Perform software and firmware updates on LCD TVs and other electronic products.
• Read and interpret service manuals, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use diagnostic equipment and specialized repair tools to identify faults.
• Identify and order spare parts using the company's service management system.
• Complete service reports and update repair status accurately in the system.
• Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
• Provide professional customer service and explain repair findings when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
• Follow all health, safety, and company service procedures.

Education

• Technical Diploma or Certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience repairing LCD TVs and consumer electronics.
• Proven experience in component-level electronic repairs.
• Experience repairing Small Domestic Appliances (SDA).
• Previous experience with an authorized service center or internationally recognized consumer electronics brands is highly preferred.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience repairing LCD TVs at the component level.
• Experience with:
• Backlight replacement
• COF bonding and laser bonding repairs for LCD panel vertical lines
• Software and firmware updates
• Ability to read service manuals and electronic schematics.
• Skilled in using electronic diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Experience identifying and ordering spare parts through service management systems.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and service updates.
• Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Experience working with one or more of the leading consumer electronics and home appliance brands.

Other Requirements

• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations for field service.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willing to be based in Jeddah or Al Qassim.
