ETQAN is seeking an experienced Green Building & LEED Specialist to lead sustainable building design, LEED certification, and smart building integration projects across the Kingdom and the GCC. The specialist will serve as the primary technical authority on green building standards, energy performance, and intelligent building systems.  

The main responsibilities of the expert are:

-       Lead LEED certification processes for projects

-       Analyze energy simulation outputs and identify envelopes, HVAC, and lighting optimization measures to maximize energy cost savings and LEED points

-       Evaluate smart building technology solutions (demand response, predictive maintenance, occupancy-based controls) and recommend systems aligned with project scope and budget

-       Provide expertise in sustainable building design and maintenance.

-       Conduct energy modeling and performance analysis

-       Supports organizations to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and regulations related to buildings

-       Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture (environmental, sustainability, energy, or equivalent).

-       Experience: 05+ years of experience in green building design, LEED project management, or sustainable infrastructure consulting

-       Certification: LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) is mandatory.

Experience in smart building management.

-       Familiarity with environmental management and carbon accounting standards: ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 14064 (GHG accounting), GRI, or equivalent is an asset.

Demonstrated proficiency in building energy modelling using EnergyPlus, eQUEST, or equivalent is an asset.
