Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plants Salesperson role based in Saudi Arabia within the Nesma Landscaping & Irrigation division. The role involves actively selling plants and related landscaping products to retail and corporate customers, including nurseries, contractors, and private clients. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and advising customers, identifying their needs, recommending suitable plant varieties and care solutions, and preparing quotations and sales orders. The Plants Salesperson will maintain product displays, monitor stock levels, coordinate with procurement and inventory teams, and support promotional activities. The role also requires following up with clients, preparing basic sales reports, and collaborating closely with the landscaping and irrigation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of plants, landscaping materials, and basic horticulture, with the ability to advise customers on species selection, plant care, and site conditions.
- Sales and customer service skills, including relationship building, negotiation, and handling inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Ability to prepare quotations, track orders, and manage simple sales documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for using sales systems, inventory tools, and common office software.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic language abilities are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, often in outdoor conditions, and to handle moderate physical activity such as moving plants and materials.
- Previous experience in plant sales, landscaping, garden centers, or related fields is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in horticulture or landscaping is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and follow company procedures and safety standards.
