We are looking for Mechanical Supervisor to lead maintenance technicians in preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of lift station equipment and pumps. Ensure safety compliance, equipment reliability, and minimal downtime while managing maintenance schedules and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in performing preventive maintenance on sanitary and storm lift station equipment, pumps, and fittings.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all lift station equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Oversee the repair and replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other mechanical components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with lift station equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management and external vendors.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on equipment status and maintenance activities.
- Use computer software to track and manage maintenance schedules and inventory.
Requirements:
- High diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in working on pumps and sewage systems
- Depth knowledge of sanitary and storm lift station equipment
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
