Dirah Development Company is is a Saudi development company specialized in urban and heritage development projects. The company focuses on revitalizing historical areas and transforming them into vibrant destinations that support tourism, culture, and quality of life, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

We are looking to hire an Executive Director of Real Estate Development to lead Dirah’s end-to-end real estate development function, from strategy, feasibility, and master planning through design, procurement, delivery, commissioning, and handover. The role will drive the development portfolio, ensuring commercially viable and distinctive projects that balance investment returns, heritage, placemaking, visitor experience, quality, cost, schedule, and risk, while creating sustainable economic and social value.

1. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Dirah’s real estate development strategy and portfolio execution.
• Oversee feasibility studies, business cases, and investment evaluations.
• Drive master planning, design, and placemaking to deliver distinctive destinations.
• Establish development governance, controls, and decision-making frameworks.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage financial performance, risk, procurement, and commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with authorities, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams while promoting continuous improvement and best practices.

2. Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or related discipline) and/or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in real estate development, with significant leadership experience overseeing large-scale mixed-use, destination, hospitality, or master-planned developments.
• Proven track record in leading the full development lifecycle, from strategy and feasibility through planning, design, procurement, delivery, and handover.
• Strong experience in investment evaluation, stakeholder management, governance, and portfolio oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage relationships with government entities, investors, consultants, and strategic partners.
