Job Title: IFRS Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
Location: KSA - Multilocation
Potential Locations: Tabuk, Al-Baha, Northern Borders, Hafar Al-Batin, Taif, Najran, Al-Ahsa
Duration: 6-12 Months, based on engagement requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations with minimal supervision.
- Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with IFRS.
- Prepare and review accruals, provisions, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
- Manage fixed assets and lease accounting, including IFRS 16 compliance.
- Handle revenue recognition and receivables accounting in line with IFRS 15.
- Prepare accurate and audit-ready financial reports and working papers.
- Ensure timely completion of financial reporting and maintain strong reporting discipline.
- Support internal and external audits by providing complete documentation and accounting evidence.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and reporting variances.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, IFRS requirements, and organizational controls.
- Operate effectively within transitional, shared-services, or evolving finance environments.
- Coordinate with finance teams, business stakeholders, auditors, and other relevant functions.
- Support finance transformation and operational requirements within large and complex organizations.
- Be flexible to work across different KSA locations based on business requirements.
- Take ownership of finance operations from day one; this is a hands-on operational role rather than an advisory-only position.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5-7 years of hands-on IFRS accounting experience.
- Proven practical experience in IFRS implementation and finance operations.
- Strong experience managing month-end close and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Accruals and provisions
- Fixed assets
- Lease accounting - IFRS 16
- Revenue recognition - IFRS 15
- Accounts receivable
- Account reconciliations and financial schedules
- Ability to independently prepare audit-ready working papers.
- Experience working in large, complex organizations.
- Saudi National or valid Iqama holder is mandatory.
- Bilingual communication skills are mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to work across multiple locations in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of accounting controls, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Candidates must be capable of independently managing operational accounting activities from the start of the engagement.
