Role Description The Reporter will work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in a full-time capacity, producing clear, accurate, and timely content related to AECOM’s projects, initiatives, and industry activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and gathering information, conducting interviews with project stakeholders, and developing news stories and reports tailored to internal and external audiences. The Reporter will prepare written articles, briefs, and feature stories, and may support the creation of multimedia materials such as photos, videos, or presentations. The role also involves collaborating with communications and project teams to ensure consistent messaging, monitoring relevant industry developments, and adhering to editorial standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong reporting and news writing skills, with the ability to gather, verify, and present information accurately and clearly.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities, including interviewing, storytelling, and adapting tone for different audiences.
• Familiarity with multimedia formats, such as basic photo, video, or digital content production, and comfort working across platforms.
• Attention to detail and editorial judgment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Experience or interest in infrastructure, engineering, urban development, or related fields is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage for local reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
