Role Description

The City Operations Manager - Riyadh is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations in Riyadh. This role manages local supply and demand, ensuring that passenger needs are met through effective Hero (driver) onboarding, support, and performance management. The City Operations Manager monitors key operational metrics, identifies issues, and implements data-informed solutions to improve reliability, service quality, and safety. They coordinate with cross-functional teams such as product, customer experience, marketing, and partnerships to roll out local initiatives, campaigns, and process improvements. The role also includes managing local teams, engaging with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management skills, including process optimization, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
• Experience in mobility, transportation, logistics, or related industries, with an understanding of ride-hailing or on-demand services.
• Data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret KPIs, identify trends, and drive actionable improvements.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills for working with internal teams, drivers/Heroes, partners, and local authorities.
• Team leadership experience, including managing, coaching, and developing local operational staff.
• Customer experience orientation, with a track record of improving service quality, safety, and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with technology platforms and mobile applications; comfort working closely with product and tech teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic and knowledge of the Saudi market are strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, with flexibility to respond to operational needs outside standard hours when required.
