Role Description: The Environmental Specialist in the KSA branch, a Saudi national, based on-site in Jeddah, KSA, is a full-time role responsible for supporting environmental projects and compliance activities. Daily tasks include conducting environmental assessments, monitoring adherence to environmental regulations, and preparing reports and documentation for regulatory authorities and clients. The role involves reviewing and interpreting environmental policies, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and providing technical input on environmental management plans. The Environmental Specialist will also assist in implementing Environment Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, participating in audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of environmental performance across client operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental Science.
• Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Policy.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Experience in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, or EHS roles within the region is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply national, regional, and international environmental regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in common office software and environmental data analysis tools is beneficial.
