We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, with a strong focus on industrial safety, fire prevention, and compliance with relevant international regulations and agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, standards, and international conventions.
• Monitor and evaluate workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver safety awareness and training programs.
• Oversee fire prevention systems, emergency response plans, and firefighting readiness.
• Prepare safety reports, records, and documentation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or a related field.
• Certification or training courses in:
• Industrial Safety.
• Preventive Safety.
• Firefighting Fundamentals.
• Shipboard Firefighting and/or Port Firefighting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar safety engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety practices and relevant international safety conventions and regulations.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic operational environment.

Preferred Competencies

• Knowledge of risk management and emergency response planning.
• Experience in marine, port, industrial, or logistics environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence.
