Opportunity: Airport Project Coordinator Engineer 

Our esteemed organization is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator Engineer to support the planning, coordination, monitoring, and successful delivery of major airport and mega-scale projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager, design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective multidisciplinary coordination, timely delivery of project activities, and proper control of project documentation and communication.

Location: AL Jawf Region, Saudi Arabia

Key Qualifications :

• Coordinate project activities across architectural, structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other disciplines to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
• Support the Project Manager and Senior Management in managing the overall project lifecycle, from design development through construction and project closeout.
• Coordinate between the Client, Consultant, Contractor, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of project issues.
• Monitor project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and deadlines, and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.
• Organize and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes of meetings, and track action items through to closure.
• Review and monitor project documentation, technical submissions, RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, design comments, and approval processes.
• Coordinate the review and submission of architectural, engineering, BIM, and construction documents in accordance with project requirements.
• Assist in identifying design clashes, interface issues, technical constraints, and coordination gaps, and follow up on appropriate mitigation measures.
• Coordinate BIM-related activities and multidisciplinary model reviews, including clash detection and design coordination.
• Maintain accurate project trackers, correspondence logs, submittal registers, RFI logs, approval logs, and other project control documentation.
• Support project reporting by preparing progress reports, dashboards, status updates, and presentations for management and clients.
• Follow up on project risks, delays, outstanding technical issues, and critical activities, escalating matters to the Project Manager when required.
• Assist in monitoring contractor performance, project progress, quality requirements, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure that construction activities are aligned with approved designs, project requirements, and the overall project schedule.
• Ensure effective document control and maintain organized project records in accordance with company and project requirements.
• Support the Project Manager in coordination meetings, client meetings, site meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi authority requirements, project standards, HSE requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Perform other project coordination duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural or a related Engineering field  ; PMP certification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience in mega projects, including airport projects in the GCC or Arab region.
• Strong understanding of project management processes, design coordination, construction documentation, and project controls.
• Excellent coordination, communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Good understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination platforms, Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred.
• PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in Design & Build project delivery, master planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent skills in scheduling, risk assessment, and project coordination.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
