Site Engineer - Underground Cable (UG Cable)

Experience: 6-10 Years

Job Summary

Responsible for supervising the execution of 132KV underground cable (UG) projects, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, on schedule, and in compliance with SEC standards, project specifications, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise UG cable installation, jointing, termination, testing, and commissioning activities.

* Monitor trenching, duct bank construction, backfilling, cable laying, and reinstatement works.

* Coordinate with subcontractors.

* Ensure compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, and project specifications.

* Monitor project progress, resolve site issues, and prepare daily and weekly reports.

* Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

* 6-10 years of experience in UG cable projects ( 115kV, 132kV, 230kV, or 380kV).

* Strong knowledge of SEC standards, submission procedures, inspections, and approval processes.

* Experience in cable laying, jointing, termination, testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation.

* Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

* Saudi Arabia experience and previous SEC project experience are preferred.
