تُعلن جامعة الرياض للفنون (RUA)، إحدى المؤسسات الوطنية الرائدة في التعليم الفني والثقافي ضمن رؤية 2030، عن توفر وظيفة محاضر في التمثيل والأداء (Acting & Performance Lecturer) للعمل بدوام كامل في برنامج بكالوريوس التمثيل (مسرح وسينما) بمدينة الرياض، اعتبارًا من العام الأكاديمي 2026/27. اللغة الإنجليزية هي لغة التدريس الأساسية للبرنامج.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تقديم تدريس عالي الجودة قائم على الاستوديو ضمن برنامج بكالوريوس التمثيل
- تدريس مواد التمثيل والأداء والحركة والصوت والارتجال أو المجالات ذات الصلة حسب الخبرة واحتياجات البرنامج
- دعم التطور الفني والتقني والمهني للطلاب من خلال الممارسة المنظمة والإرشاد
- تقييم أعمال الطلاب وتقديم تغذية راجعة بناءة تكوينية وختامية
- المساهمة في التدريبات وورش العمل والعروض والأنشطة المرتبطة بالأداء
- التعاون مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس لدعم تقديم البرنامج بشكل متكامل
- المساهمة في تحسين المناهج وتطوير البرنامج
- المشاركة في أنشطة استقطاب الطلاب والقبول والتوعية والمشاركة العامة
- حضور اجتماعات البرنامج والأنشطة الأكاديمية حسب المطلوب
- الحفاظ على بيئة تعليمية آمنة وشاملة ومهنية
- الالتزام بالمعايير المهنية والأخلاقية والمؤسسية
المهارات المطلوبة
- خبرة مهنية كممثل أو مخرج أو صانع مسرح أو مدرب أداء أو ممارس ذي صلة
- خبرة في التدريس في التعليم العالي أو المعاهد الموسيقية أو مدارس الدراما أو بيئات التدريب المهني للممثلين
- القدرة على العمل بفعالية مع مجموعات طلابية متنوعة

About the BA Acting (Theatre & Film) Program
The Bachelor of Arts in Acting (Theatre & Film) is a four-year undergraduate programme that provides intensive conservatoire-style training for stage, film, and media performance.
The programme combines studio-based practice, academic study, professional preparation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Students develop the artistic, technical, and professional skills required for careers in theatre, film, television, digital media, and related creative industries.
Delivered in partnership with AMDA College of the Performing Arts, the programme reflects international standards while supporting the development of Saudi creative talent and cultural leadership.
Position Overview
The BA Acting (Theatre & Film) Program is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Acting & Performance for the 2026/27 academic year.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of conservatoire-style actor training across stage, screen, and interdisciplinary performance contexts while supporting the development of the University’s inaugural Acting programme.
The role is suited to a skilled practitioner-educator who combines professional performance experience with a commitment to student development and high-quality teaching.
English is the primary language of instruction for the theatre programme.
Key Responsibilities
The Lecturer will:
• Deliver high-quality studio-based teaching within the BA Acting programme
• Teach acting, performance, movement, voice, improvisation, or related areas according to expertise and programme needs
• Support students’ artistic, technical, and professional development through structured practice and mentorship
• Assess student work and provide constructive formative and summative feedback
• Contribute to rehearsals, workshops, productions, and performance-related activities
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues to support integrated programme delivery
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and programme development
• Participate in student recruitment, admissions, outreach, and public engagement activities
• Attend programme meetings and academic activities as required
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment
• Uphold professional, ethical, and institutional standards
Indicative Teaching Areas
Teaching responsibilities may include one or more of the following:
• Acting and performance training
• Acting for stage and recorded media
• Movement and physical performance
• Voice, speech, and text work
• Ensemble practice and collaborative performance-making
• Improvisation and devised performance
• Rehearsal processes and professional studio practice
• Performance preparation and presentation
• Reflective practice and professional development
Candidate Profile
RUA seeks practitioner-educators who combine strong professional experience with a commitment to high-quality teaching and student success.

• Professional experience as an actor, director, theatre-maker, performance coach, or related practitioner
• Experience teaching within higher education, conservatoires, drama schools, or professional actor-training environments
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to collaborative and interdisciplinary practice
• Professionalism, adaptability, and student-centred teaching approaches
Required Qualifications
Essential
• Saudi national
• Master’s degree (MA, MFA, or equivalent) in Acting, Performance, Theatre, Drama, Performing Arts, or a closely related discipline
• Minimum three years of teaching or actor-training experience within higher education, conservatoires, drama schools, or equivalent professional training environments
• Demonstrated professional experience as an actor, director, theatre-maker, performance coach, or related practitioner
• Fluency in English
Desirable
• Experience teaching within conservatoire-style actor training programmes
• Experience working across theatre, film, and recorded media performance
• Experience contributing to curriculum development
• International professional or teaching experience
