Job Purpose:

To ensures that products and processes meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves designing quality control systems, analyzing production processes, and implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency and product excellence. The Quality Engineer works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, design, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure product conformity.

2. Define key quality indicators and standards for materials, workmanship, and final deliverables.

3. Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and codes.

4. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

5. Perform inspections, tests, and evaluations of materials, components, and finished products.

6. Analyze manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.

7. Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance product quality and reduce waste.

8. Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection criteria, procedures, and reports.

9.   Ensure proper documentation is available for audits and handover.

10. Identify and report non-conformances in materials or work processes.

11. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100, or other relevant certifications) and regulatory requirements.

12. Facilitate third-party inspections and certifications as needed.

13. Collaborate with regulatory agencies and customers during audits or reviews.

14. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.

15. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and enhance the supply chain process.

16. Analyze quality data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement

17. Recommend process or material changes to enhance quality and efficiency.

18. Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, including defects, deviations, and overall performance.

19. Work closely with design, production, and other teams to incorporate quality standards in new product development.

20. Provide training to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

21. Act as a resource for resolving quality-related issues on-site.

22, Enhances customer satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

23. Reduces rework and associated costs by ensuring defects are caught early.

24. Minimizes risks of non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.

25. Contributes to the reputation and credibility of the construction company.

7. Completion of mandatory education as per the requirement, at least one month prior to expiration.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).

Proficiency in uality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and control charts.

A minimum of 5 years of experience.

Bachelor degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Excellent & highly proficient in spoken and written English. Fluent Arabic (preferable).

Certification in quality engineering (CQE) or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
