About the Job:

Our Operations department in Jubail, Saudi Arabia is actively seeking talented individuals with experience in the heavy lift industry to join our team at Roll Group. As a Heavy Haul Driver, you will play a vital role in executing a range of transportation tasks, from routine to complex, to support project-based and daily operations. This role demands expertise in heavy haul transportation, handling loads exceeding 70 meters in length, overweight and oversized cargoes, and overnight hauls.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of vehicles is in good working order.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and paper records when necessary, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Document service or repair activities and report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
• Secure cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring safe transport.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods, checking load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Review bills of lading and work orders to determine assignment details and procedures.
• Couple or uncouple trailers as needed.
• Inspect trailers after unloading to ensure no damage has occurred.
• Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, and GPS systems to communicate effectively.
• Ensure all required permits are in place for hauling permitted loads.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a driver position
• Proficient knowledge of driving protocols under regional governing agencies such as OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, etc.
• Valid driver's license through local jurisdiction.
• Compliance with all company competence and training matrix requirements
