At MED-EL Research Department in Riyadh, we are delighted to invite talented professionals to join our ongoing research journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clinicians and engineers to turn research questions into clear modeling tasks and experimental plans 
• Collaborate with researchers and domain experts, and support documentation and reporting 
• Participate in research projects and experiments from initiation to closure. 
• Develop and test machine learning and deep learning models using biomedical and device-generated data 
• Prepare datasets for training and evaluation, and support ongoing model improvement 
• Build and maintain research tools and software components for internal prototypes 

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field 
• Good knowledge of machine learning, including model training and evaluation, with hands-on Python experience (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) 
• Practical experience from academic or personal projects, a thesis, or competitions involving trained models 
• Good analytical skills and the ability to understand and implement methods from research papers 
• Solid coding practices; experience with C++/Qt or interest in medical imaging / 3D visualization is a plus
• Good English skills and the ability to work well in a team
