We are looking for Database Administrator to join our fast paced and self-accountable team that delivers enterprise level products for local and global markets.

The Database Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing database systems. The role requires strong experience in SQL database administration (including monitoring, backups, and performance tuning), preferably MongoDB, and hands-on experience with cloud-based database platforms, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The position ensures the reliability, integrity, and availability of database systems, implements efficient backup and recovery strategies, and monitors performance to support smooth operations across platforms.

What will you do?

SQL Database Administration

• Monitor database health, performance, and availability
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments
• Manage database security, user access, and compliance
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues (queries, indexing, servers)
• Perform patching and upgrades Configure high availability solutions (Always On, replication, clustering)
• Continuously tune performance and resource utilization
• Automate database operations (backup, monitoring, maintenance)

Cloud Database Management (OCI)

• Provision and manage databases within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Configure and maintain: Data Guard setups in OCI
• Backup policies and automated backup processes
• Auto-scaling and storage management
• Monitor database environments using: OCI Monitoring and Alarms
• Logging and diagnostic tools
• Manage database lifecycle operations via OCI Console, CLI, and APIs

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 4 years in database administration (focus on SQL Server)
• Experience with MongoDB preferred
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services
• Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization
• Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability strategies
• Experience managing databases in cloud environments (provisioning, monitoring, scaling)
• Hands-on experience with SSMS or similar tools
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator or similar
• OCI certifications are a plus

Technical Requirements:

• SQL Technologies: SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS, Always On, replication, clustering
• MongoDB: Atlas, replica sets, sharding, backup/restore
• Cloud (OCI): Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services, Data Guard, monitoring & lifecycle management.
• Monitoring Tools: SQL Profiler, SolarWinds, MMS, Nagios, Zabbix (or similar)
• Backup Tools: SQL Server Backup, MongoDB Backup, Veeam, etc.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash or similar
• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux
