Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical equipment used in power plant operations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and protection schematics.
• Install, inspect, service, adjust, and repair static and rotating electrical equipment.
• Coordinate equipment isolation and maintenance activities with the Electrical Supervisor and Operations team.
• Report spare parts and consumable requirements to support maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history.
• Prepare work areas and equipment before maintenance activities.
• Support plant shutdowns, annual outages, and overhauling activities.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards (5S) within the work area.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or minimum 3 years of experience as a Skilled Electrical Labor within Nawras plants. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role.

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Conventional Power Plants, Combined Cycle Power Plants, or Cogeneration Plants.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of electrical maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and protection schematics.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
• Basic knowledge of power plant operations.
• Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, confined space entry, PPE, fire protection systems, and safe work practices.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of waste management, environmental compliance, firefighting equipment, and first aid.
