Job Summary:

Lead the governance and compliance functions for Golf Saudi, Golf Clubs, and subsidiaries by developing and overseeing governance frameworks, compliance strategies, policies, regulatory obligations, and ethical standards. The role ensures alignment with legal and regulatory requirements, supports board and committee governance, manages compliance risk assessments and monitoring plans, oversees AML, Fraud, whistleblowing, investigations, and contractual compliance, and promotes transparency, accountability, and sound decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of governance and compliance strategies aligned with Golf Saudi’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain corporate governance frameworks, policies, procedures, delegation of authority, and decision-making protocols to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Establish and oversee the enterprise-wide compliance framework covering regulatory obligations, compliance risk assessments, AML, Fraud, contractual compliance, and internal control requirements.
• Manage board and committee governance, including agenda setting, documentation, resolutions, governance records, and required regulatory filings.
• Ensure effective corporate secretarial support for board meetings, committee meetings, shareholder communications, and governance-related approvals.
• Monitor and enforce conflict of interest policies, ethical standards, whistleblowing programs, confidentiality protocols, and escalation procedures across the organization.
• Supervise governance and compliance assessments, maturity evaluations, audits, and investigations by setting standards, reviewing outputs, and ensuring accountability.
• Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and Executive Leadership to mitigate governance, contractual, regulatory, and operational compliance risks.
• Set the annual governance and compliance roadmap, budgets, resources, KPIs, and monitoring plans across Golf Saudi, Golf Clubs, and subsidiaries.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with regulatory authorities, management committees, external auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure governance and compliance alignment.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and corporate governance trends, advising senior leadership on required enhancements and best practices.
• Lead awareness, training, and communication initiatives to embed governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the organization.
• Lead and mentor the governance and compliance team, ensuring capability development, performance accountability, and continuous improvement.

Role Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications in compliance, governance, AML, or risk management are preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, regulatory governance, or risk management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role. Proven experience leading board governance, compliance frameworks, investigations, assessments, AML, anti-fraud, whistleblowing, and contractual compliance programs.
