Role Description The QHSE Engineer (Saudi) is a full-time remote role responsible for implementing and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across assigned projects and operations. This role involves developing and monitoring QHSE policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. The QHSE Engineer will perform regular audits and inspections, analyze incident reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. They will collaborate with project teams and management to promote a strong safety culture, deliver QHSE training, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes preparing documentation, reports, and metrics to track performance and support certification or regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with experience applying them in industrial or service environments.
• Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Safety Engineering skills, including risk assessment, hazard control, and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess Training skills, with the ability to design and deliver QHSE awareness sessions and coaching for diverse teams.
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in QHSE, HSE, or EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001/14001 knowledge) are highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Saudi Arabia.
