Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with financial analysis and reporting. The role plays a key part in budgeting, cost control, inventory accounting, and maintaining efficient financial processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Supervise payments in accordance with payment terms, service completion, and goods receipt procedures.
• Perform variance analysis between Budget vs. Actual.
• Handle inventory valuation and conduct inventory-related financial analysis.
• Support cost accounting activities and manufacturing accounting processes.
• Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure smooth workflow within the department.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Strong background in Cost Accounting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or an equivalent ERP system.
• Good background in budgeting and financial planning.
• Very good skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Very good command of English.
• Candidates should have recent experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector, with at least 3 years in Cost Accounting. Total professional experience should be 5-8 years.
