Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Cost Control & Planning Engineer role based in Al Ahsa. The Cost Control & Planning Engineer oversees project cost planning, tracking, and variance analysis to ensure projects remain within approved budgets. Responsibilities include preparing and updating cost reports, monitoring expenditures against forecasts, and coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to identify cost risks and opportunities. The role involves supporting project control processes, validating contractor invoices, assisting in change management, and providing clear cost-related insights to management. The engineer is expected to adhere to company standards, contribute to continuous improvement of cost management practices, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications:

• Strong cost-focused competencies, including Cost Control and Cost Management.
• 7+ years of experience is a MUST
• Proficiency in Project Control and Cost Reporting for engineering and construction projects.
• Proficiency in POWER BI is a MUST
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a MUST
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for data interpretation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in cost engineering or project control within the engineering or construction sector.
• Saudi citizenship, in line with local regulations and Saudization requirements.
• Familiarity with cost management software and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP or project management tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and commitment to quality and compliance.
