JOB PURPOSE

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and support quality control activities throughout project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Assist in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Verify that materials and workmanship comply with contractual and technical requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure all documentation is properly filed.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in construction projects.

COMPETENCIES/SKILL SETS

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken) is preferred.
