Logistics Operations Manager - Last-Mile DeliveryJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and manage last-mile delivery operations for orders received through leading food delivery platforms, including HungerStation, Keeta, The Chefz, and Jahez.

The role is responsible for ensuring efficient daily delivery operations, optimizing driver performance, maintaining high service levels, controlling operational costs, and ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily last-mile delivery operations across multiple delivery platforms.
• Coordinate and monitor delivery orders from acceptance through successful delivery.
• Manage relationships and operational requirements related to HungerStation, Keeta, The Chefz, and Jahez.
• Monitor driver/rider performance, attendance, productivity, and compliance with operational standards.
• Plan delivery schedules, rider allocation, and operational coverage according to order volumes.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
• On-time delivery rate
• Order acceptance and completion rate
• Cancellation rate
• Delivery time
• Rider productivity
• Customer complaints
• Order accuracy
• Analyze operational data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delivery costs.
• Handle operational issues, delayed orders, failed deliveries, customer complaints, and escalations.
• Coordinate with restaurants, riders, platform support teams, and internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, platform requirements, and applicable local regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve delivery speed, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor peak-hour demand and ensure sufficient rider capacity and coverage.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions when required.
• Train, coach, and motivate the operations team and delivery personnel.
• Monitor operational expenses and contribute to cost-control initiatives.
• Support the launch and integration of new delivery platforms, locations, or operational processes.
• Maintain accurate operational records and ensure timely reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, fleet operations, food delivery, or a similar operational environment.
• Previous experience working with food delivery platforms such as HungerStation, Keeta, The Chefz, or Jahez is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of last-mile delivery operations and fleet/rider management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and translate operational data into actionable improvements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly preferred.

Working Environment

This position requires a hands-on approach to operations, including continuous monitoring of delivery performance, coordination with riders and platform partners, and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues, particularly during peak periods.
