Role Description: This full-time, on-site role, based in the Riyadh Region, is for a Commercial Vehicles Service Engineer, with the possibility of upgrading the position to a leadership role. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in commercial vehicles and industrial equipment, and performing routine and corrective maintenance and repair tasks. The Service Engineer will provide field service support at customer locations, ensuring timely and effective technical assistance and high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities include task distribution, overall workshop targets, coordinating with service teams, documenting service activities, communicating clearly with customers and colleagues, and adhering to safety, quality, and OEM standards. Keeping an eye on warranty claims, warranty jobs, and complying with DMS procedures (SOPs). The role also requires ongoing learning of new vehicle technologies and participation in service process improvements.

Qualifications

• Has a recent proven record in OEM/ Commercial vehicles experience & knowledge.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in troubleshooting complex commercial vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience in field service operations, including on-site inspections, servicing, and customer support for commercial vehicles or industrial equipment.
• Capability to deliver technical support, including interpreting service manuals, using diagnostic tools, and guiding customers and colleagues on technical issues.
• Proven maintenance and repair skills for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of commercial vehicles, with attention to safety and quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with commercial trucks and buses, preferably with international OEMs, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in the Riyadh or Dammam Regions, manage time effectively, and handle multiple service tasks under pressure.
