Job Summary

The Generator Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing generator engines to ensure reliable and efficient operation. The role requires hands-on experience with Perkins, Caterpillar, and Cummins generators, including engine overhauling.

Key Responsibilities

·        Perform mechanical troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of diesel generators.

·        Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of generator engines.

·        Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely rectification.

·        Perform engine overhauling and related mechanical repairs.

·        Inspect engine components and ensure proper functioning.

·        Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

·        Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Qualifications

·        Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

·        Valid driving license from India or any GCC country.

Experience

·        5-10 years of relevant experience in generator mechanical troubleshooting and engine overhauling.

·        Hands-on experience with Perkins, Caterpillar, and Cummins generators.

• ·        Experience in a power rental company is an added advantage.
