Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, design, installation, maintenance, and project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex engineering projects while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering solutions.
• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering activities throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and engineering reports.
• Manage mechanical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, architectural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review contractor and supplier submittals, technical documents, and material specifications.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with relevant international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and quality management procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience in managing and coordinating engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

• Professional engineering certification is an advantage.
• Experience in large-scale construction, industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE and quality assurance requirements.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
