Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develops and implements the overall IT strategy, in collaboration with other executives and stakeholders, to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
2. Establishes and enforces IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance, security, and risk management.
3. Oversees the design, implementation, and integration of healthcare-specific software architectures and applications, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, enhance clinical workflows, and improve patient care. Guide the adoption of electronic health records (EHR), patient management systems, and telemedicine platforms, ensuring interoperability, data security, and seamless user experience across all healthcare services.
4. Oversees the allocation of IT resources and budget, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
5. Defines and maintains the entity technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
6. Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies and solutions that align with the entity needs.
7. Leads the IT department and manages a team of professionals responsible for IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data management, and support services. Ensures smooth and efficient operations, including system availability, uptime, and performance.
8. Drives digital initiatives to leverage technology for business growth and competitive advantage.
9. Identifies opportunities to improve business processes, enhance customer experience, and enable data-driven decision-making.
10. Fosters effective communication and collaboration between IT and other business units, ensuring alignment and understanding of technology initiatives and requirements.
11. Evaluates, negotiates, and manages relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants.
12. Establishes and maintains robust cybersecurity measures, data privacy controls, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
13. Monitors ROI of IT Systems and Projects
14. Leads change management efforts, ensuring seamless adoption of IT systems and processes across the organization.
15. Implements technology initiatives to improve business operations and drive excellence.
16. Ensures that PII and PHI measures are implemented within the organization.
17. Ensures local support team is aligned with corporate policies, SLA and reporting requirements
18. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.
