I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), graduating first in my class in the Thermal Engineering and Desalination Technology track. Following graduation, I completed a year of excellence as a Research Assistant. I was subsequently awarded a scholarship through the King Saud University (KSU) by Attracting Outstanding Faculty and Research Program, during which I served as a researcher in the laboratories of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and as a Teaching Assistant. My research activities focused on water desalination across a wide range of technologies, leading to the publication of more than 33 peer-reviewed papers in international journals (ISI) and conferences. In recognition of my research contributions, I received the Best Poster Award at the International Desalination for Clean Water and Energy Conference in Palermo, Italy. Concurrently with my research and teaching responsibilities in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, I earned both my Master’s and Ph.D. degrees. Following the completion of my doctoral studies, I served as adjunct assistant professor, teaching undergraduate courses in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Riyadh and in the Department of Applied Mechanical Engineering in Al-Muzahimiyah until 2025. These academic and professional contributions led to my appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Applied Engineering. Throughout my professional career, I have undertaken diverse roles, most notably serving as a supervisor and researcher at the King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology (KAIN/NAN), College of Science, KSU. In addition, contributing to supervision and training activities at the Reverse Engineering Center, Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, KSU.
