نبذة عن الوظيفة
بصفتك مدير تصميم، ستقود أنشطة إدارة المشاريع والتصميم للمشاريع الكبيرة في مجال البيئة المبنية والبنية التحتية في الشرق الأوسط. ستقوم بمراجعة الرسومات الهندسية وأعمال التصميم وتخطيط البنية التحتية، مع تنسيق أنشطة التصميم عبر فرق المشروع والمقاولين وممثلي العملاء.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- إدارة وتنسيق أنشطة مراجعة التصميم اليومية، بما في ذلك إدارة أصحاب المصلحة ومراقبة الميزانية وإعداد التقارير.
- التواصل المنتظم مع ممثلي المقاولين والعملاء بشأن أنشطة مراجعة التصميم.
- إدارة مراجعة التصميم والمقدمات الفنية عبر تخصصات المشروع.
- ضمان تطبيق الضوابط المناسبة لأنشطة مراجعة التصميم، بما في ذلك ضمان الجودة / مراقبة الجودة والامتثال التعاقدي.
- مراقبة التقدم في التخصصات وإعداد التقارير لمدير المشروع الرئيسي وممثل العميل.
- تحديد التغييرات والاختلافات في المشروع التي تؤثر على تسليم التصميم والإبلاغ عنها.
- مراقبة تقدم المشروع وتخصيص الموارد لفريق مراجعة التصميم، وإجراء التغييرات اللازمة.
- العمل مع المهندسين المتخصصين ومدير المشروع الرئيسي لحل مشكلات التصميم.
- إعداد ومراجعة خطة مراجعة التصميم، ومراقبة حالتها وملاءمتها وفعاليتها المستمرة.
- تحديد المخاطر والفرص المرتبطة بتنسيق التصميم وتقديم المشورة لفرق المشروع بانتظام.
- دعم التحسين المستمر وطرق العمل الرقمية، ومشاركة المعرفة والدروس المستفادة.
- إظهار سلوكيات آمنة وأخلاقية وشاملة تتماشى مع قيم Mott MacDonald.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- أساسي: درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة و/أو العمارة.
- أساسي: خبرة هندسية مثبتة في إدارة التصميم وإدارة المشاريع التجارية ومراقبة المشاريع.
- أساسي: خبرة في منطقة الخليج.
- أساسي: خبرة في قيادة فرق التصميم وتخطيط المشاريع وكتابة التقارير الفنية وإعداد المقترحات.
- أساسي: خبرة في بيئة استشارية.
- أساسي: الإلمام بمعايير مراجعة التصميم الدولية ومعرفة معايير المملكة العربية السعودية.
- أساسي: القدرة على إدارة عبء العمل وتحقيق المخرجات عبر الأفراد والفرق والمشاريع.
- أساسي: القدرة على تنسيق أنشطة التصميم عبر مشاريع البيئة المبنية والبنية التحتية الكبيرة.
- مرغوب: مهندس معتمد أو مهندس معماري معتمد أو ما يعادله من مهندس أو معماري مرخص/مسجل لدى جهة معترف بها.
- مرغوب: خبرة في مراجعة الرسومات الهندسية وتخطيط البنية التحتية والمقدمات الفنية.
- مرغوب: خبرة في تحديد وإدارة مخاطر تنسيق التصميم والفرص والتغييرات في المشروع.
- مرغوب: خبرة في العمل كمدير مشروع رئيسي أو مدير مشروع باستخدام أنظمة إدارة الأعمال الداخلية.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day design review activities, including stakeholder management, budget control and reporting.
- Liaise regularly with contractor and client representatives for design review activities.
- Administer the review of design and technical submissions across project disciplines.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place for design review activities, including QA/QC and contract compliance.
- Control and report discipline progress to the Project Principal and client representative.
- Identify and report project changes and variations affecting design delivery.
- Monitor project progress and resource allocation for the design review team, initiating changes where required.
- Work with discipline engineers and the Project Principal to resolve design issues.
- Draft and review the design review plan, monitoring its status, adequacy and continuing effectiveness.
- Identify risks and opportunities associated with design coordination and advise project teams regularly.
- Support continuous improvement and digital ways of working, sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
- Demonstrate safe, ethical and inclusive behaviours aligned to Mott MacDonald values.
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Architecture.
- Proven engineering experience in design management, commercial project management and project controls.
- Experience in the Gulf region.
- Experience leading design teams, project planning, technical report writing and proposal preparation.
- Experience within a consultancy environment.
- Familiarity with international design review standards and knowledge of KSA standards.
- Ability to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals, teams and projects.
- Ability to coordinate design activities across large Built Environment and Infrastructure projects.
- Chartered Engineer, Chartered Architect or equivalent licensed/registered engineer or architect with a recognised authority.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings, infrastructure planning and technical submissions.
- Experience identifying and managing design coordination risks, opportunities and project changes.
- Experience acting as Project Principal or Project Manager using internal business management systems.
