1. Licenses & Qualifications
Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL): Must hold a valid, current ATPL issued by a recognized civil aviation authority (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA).
A330 Type Rating: Must hold a valid, current Type Rating on the Airbus A330 (typically as a Captain/Commander).

2. Flight Experience & Flight Hours

Experience on Type (A330):
A minimum of 300 to 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC / Captain) on the A330.

3. Instructor Certification (TRI/SFI)
Candidates must successfully complete an approved instructor course to earn their rating:
Teaching & Learning Course: Theoretical training covering instructional techniques, human performance, student psychology, and briefing/debriefing methods.
Simulator Instructional Training: Practical training conducted from the instructor operating station (IOS) in a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) to master grading, introducing system failures, and managing emergency scenarios.
Assessment of Competence: Passing a practical evaluation (check-ride) conducted by a Senior Examiner to certify instructional capabilities.
