First Coffee Company is hiring a full-time, on-site Coffee Roaster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roast coffee to defined profiles, monitoring and adjusting roast curves for consistent flavor and quality
• Build and develop new roast profiles
• Operate and maintain roasting equipment
• Evaluate green and roasted coffee, and conduct cupping sessions
• Accurately record production data
• Coordinate with the team on inventory needs, packaging schedules, and product releases
• Support staff training on coffee preparation and product knowledge
• Follow safety and hygiene standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in roasting processes

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in specialty coffee roasting, with knowledge of green coffee characteristics and flavor development
• Experience building new roast profiles from scratch
• Experience with quality control practices such as cupping, sensory evaluation, and documenting results
• Strong attention to detail in production record-keeping
• Team player with good cross-department coordination skills
• Saudi residents preferred
