Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Skills Requirement

• Experience of banking products (Retail, personal, Wealth) regulations, processes, and procedures
• Experience in GL reconciliations for Branch, ATM, Cards, Deposits, Loans, Cash, Bank, Vault, A/R, A/P, Clearing, Settlement, Suspense accounts, Payments.
• Experience in system to system (intersystem) recon - GL vs SL,
• Understanding of Intercompany, Intergroup and Interbranch reconciliations
• Accounting knowledge including recording journal entries and understanding financial impacts.
• GL reconciliation applications experience is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
• Perform in-depth analysis of reconciliations, deciphering complex exceptions between systems for the accounts.
• Perform root-cause analysis on why exceptions exist and lead the effort in resolving them.
• Analyze trends, enter exception data, and ensure proper aging
• Communicate complex break reports to either internal groups within the firm or correspondents outside the firm. Monitor resolution.
• Daily, weekly, monthly status report preparation.
• Assist in analyzing operational needs and provide inputs to solve the identified need.
• Execute tasks efficiently and quickly with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement them to create efficiencies.
• Interact with bank wide vendors and stakeholders for resolution of breaks
