Junior Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Maintenance Execution & Reliability
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with HSE standards, ensuring safe operations while improving equipment reliability and minimizing downtime
- 2. Maintenance Planning & Optimization
- Plan, schedule, and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs in line with maintenance strategy
- 3. Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
- Lead and support troubleshooting of machines, processes, materials, and molds, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of sustainable solutions
- 4. Documentation & Systems Management
- Manage and update maintenance procedures, systems, and technical documentation to ensure compliance and process optimization
- 5. Spare Parts & Coordination
- Coordinate spare parts activities (RFQs, PRs, follow-up with Supply Chain) to ensure availability and cost efficiency
- Additional Responsibilities
- 1. Data Analysis & KPI Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report maintenance KPIs (e.g., downtime, MTTR, MTBF) to support performance improvement
- 2. Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Support implementation of TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives with Production and Lean teams
- 3. Projects & Contractor Coordination
- Participate in equipment-related projects and coordinate contractor activities when required
- 4. Inspections & Compliance
- Support audits, inspections, and condition monitoring activities to ensure equipment integrity and compliance
- 5. Technical Development & Support
- Continuously develop technical expertise in mechanical and basic electrical systems and contribute to team knowledge

Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Engineering
- Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience in mechanical systems and basic electrical knowledge
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance
- Exposure to TPM, Lean, or CI is a plus
- Specific knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic PLC knowledge and troubleshooting
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
- Excellent listening skills and ability to follow instructions as well as provide directions on step-by-step repair process
- Motivated, organized, eager to learn and possess a positive attitude toward the job
