المهام والمسؤوليات
- التخطيط والتحليل الصوتي
- تحديد أنظمة الجدران والأرضيات والأسقف والزجاج لتحقيق متطلبات عزل الصوت
- تصميم أنظمة الواجهات لتقليل تسرب الضوضاء الخارجية
- ضمان الامتثال لقوانين البناء والمعايير الصوتية
- تصميم المعالجات الصوتية الداخلية (الألواح، الممتصات، الناشرات)
- تحسين وقت الصدى حسب الاستخدام المطلوب للمساحة
- تصميم مساحات الأداء (القاعات، المسارح، غرف المؤتمرات)
- مراجعة رسومات المقاول ومستندات المواد المقدمة
- التحقق من الامتثال للمواصفات الصوتية أثناء مرحلة البناء
- التفتيش الموقعي
- تقييم الاختبارات الصوتية والتشغيل
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الصوتية أو الهندسة المعمارية أو الهندسة المدنية
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في تصميم أو تنفيذ مشاريع البناء في هذا التخصص
- يفضل درجة الماجستير في الصوتيات
- عضوية في هيئات مهنية مثل: Institute of Acoustics (IOA) أو Acoustical Society of America (ASA) أو National Council of Acoustical Consultants (NCAC)
المهارات المطلوبة
- الإلمام بالمعايير الصوتية: ISO وASTM وBS وSBC
- الإلمام ببرامج المحاكاة الصوتية مثل EASE وOdeon وCadnaA وSoundPLAN

Role Description
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Experience required is 5 years minimum in this discipline construction projects design or execution. Master’s degree in acoustics is preferred. Membership in professional bodies such as: Institute of Acoustics (IOA), Acoustical Society of America (ASA), or National Council of Acoustical Consultants (NCAC). He/she should be familiar with standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, SBC) and acoustic simulation software (e.g., EASE, Odeon, CadnaA, SoundPLAN).
Responsibilities During Design Phase:
⏺️ Acoustic Planning & Analysis .
⏺️ Specify wall, floor, roof, and glazing systems to meet sound insulation requirements.
⏺️ Design façade systems to reduce external noise intrusion.
⏺️ Ensure compliance with building codes and acoustic standards.
⏺️ Design internal acoustic treatments (panels, absorbers, diffusers).
⏺️ Optimize reverberation time for intended space use.
⏺️ Design performance spaces (halls, auditoriums, conference rooms).
⏺️ Responsibilities During Construction Phase.
⏺️ Review contractor shop drawings and material submittals.
⏺️ Verify compliance with acoustic specifications.
⏺️ Site Inspections.
⏺️ Evaluate Acoustic Testing & Commissioning.
