KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Security Operations Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Site Security Management Plan in coordination with the Employer's Security team, covering all personnel, vehicles, and cargo entry and exit points.
• Manage all SWMLC security personnel (Supervisors, Admin, Guards, Patrols) to ensure adequate coverage and performance across all security zones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Coordinate and align all security operations with Employer's Security requirements, ensuring the Employer's Security personnel maintain overarching control at all times.
• Supervise operations at key security zones including Main Site Entrance, Vehicle Waiting Zone, Security Screening/X-Ray Zone, Vehicle Jetty Area, Personnel Waiting Zone, Personnel Security Screening/X-Ray Zone, Personnel Jetty Area, Senior Staff and Labour Camps.

Access Control & Permit Management

• Oversee the verification and processing of all access permits for materials, personnel, vehicles, and equipment in coordination with the Employer's Security permit system.
• Ensure all deliveries to the Vehicle Marshalling Area are subject to thorough security checks, including visual inspection, scanning for prohibited items, verification of delivery documents, and random sampling.
• Ensure all personnel on site possess valid individual ID cards linked to their Iqama (residency permit) as mandated by the Employer.
• Manage the rejection and holding procedures for non-compliant vehicles, personnel, and cargo.
• Ensure compliance with all emergency escalation protocols and coordinate with emergency response services when required.

Patrolling &Site Security

• Implement and oversee a comprehensive patrolling security service covering all common-use areas, camps, offices, laydown areas, and other project facilities.
• Ensure patrolling schedules are coordinated with and approved by the Employer's Security team.
• Manage the investigation of any security incidents, breaches, or theft, and report findings to the Employer and PM.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and recommend improvements to security protocols.

Emergency Response

• Facilitate emergency services access and navigation across the site in coordination with the QHSE team and Employer's Security.
• Maintain and test emergency escalation protocols and communication systems.
• Act as the security lead during emergencies, evacuations, and muster exercises.
