JOB PURPOSE:
To deliver hands-on, multi-disciplinary technical care across all integrated exhibit systems, ensuring safe, reliable, visually impeccable, and continuously available operation for public use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Asset Care & Maintenance Execution:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned exhibit systems in accordance with CMMS schedules, approved SOPs, and OEM manuals.
- Perform daily exhibit readiness and condition inspections before public opening
- Execute corrective maintenance and repairs to restore exhibit functionality
- Perform functional testing, calibration, and verification after maintenance or resets
- Diagnose faults across integrated exhibit systems (mechanical, electrical, AV, control, and digital, etc.)
- Identify early signs of wear, degradation, or abnormal behavior and report them for corrective action
- Replace consumables, wear parts, and minor components before failure occurs
- Support reliability improvement by properly reporting repeat faults and abnormal trends
Vendor & System Support:
- Support specialist vendors during servicing, testing, and upgrades
- Verify exhibit functionality before and after vendor intervention
- Protect warranties by ensuring correct operating and maintenance practices
CMMS & Documentation:
- Ensure work orders are closed by recording all work performed in the CMMS, including findings, actions, time, and parts used.
Aesthetics & Visitor Experience:
- Maintain exhibit aesthetic integrity after every maintenance activity.
- Ensure panels, covers, screens, cables, and surfaces are clean, aligned, and visually acceptable.
Safety & Observation:
- Follow all safety, electrical, water, and public-protection procedures.
- Proactively identify and report emerging hazards caused by visitor behavior or misuse.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in maintenance or any related field.
- OR Associate Diploma in the maintenance field or any related field.
- Prior hands-on technician experience is preferred; exceptional fresh graduates with high potential may also be considered.
