Role Description This full-time, on-site Internal Medicine Specialist role at مجمع أطباء الخليج الطبي is based in Al Khobar.

The specialist will provide comprehensive adult medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up management of acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, requesting and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role also involves coordinating care with other specialists, monitoring patient progress, updating medical records, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and safety protocols. The Internal Medicine Specialist will participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, support preventive health initiatives, educate patients and families about disease management and lifestyle modifications, and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the clinic.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of adult medical conditions.
• Experience in Cardiology and Critical Care Nursing principles sufficient to assess, stabilize, and coordinate care for patients with complex or high-risk conditions.
• Demonstrated ability in Working with Physicians and other healthcare professionals, fostering effective communication and collaborative, team-based care.
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Internal Medicine; board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is preferred.
• Valid license to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to obtain licensure according to local regulations.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with attention to patient safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate electronic medical records and familiarity with clinical documentation and coding practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, clinical audits, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
• Demonstrated strong leadership in directing cross-functional teams.
• Extensive experience in managing labor medical checkups and compliance protocols.
