🚀 Accountant (Accounts Payable & Financial Closing Specialist)

Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Type: Full-Time | Mid-Senior Level | Multiple Openings Available

Experience Required: 3-6 Years of Proven Accounting Experience (Middle East experience is mandatory)

Expected Start Date: Immediate

Salary: Monthly salary of 5,000 - 8,000 SAR based on experience.

🎯 What You'll Do

Accounts Payable Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment runs, and resolution of discrepancies.

Financial Closings: Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting deadlines.

Cost Accounting Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of cost accounting concepts to monitor project costs, analyze variances, and support cost control initiatives specific to the construction industry.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, local and international financial regulations, and company policies. Prepare detailed financial reports and statements.

Data Analysis & Systems Proficiency: Utilize strong reasoning, numerical aptitude, and data analytics skills to interpret financial data. Proficiently use MS Excel, ERP systems, and other accounting software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, auditors, and other internal departments to ensure integrated financial management and successful project delivery.

Travel: Undertake periodic travel to UAE as required for specific project and financial requirements.

🧑‍💻 What We're Looking For

Extensive Experience: 3 + years of progressive hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and financial closings, preferably within the construction industry in India and Middle East.

Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and specific nuances of accounting in the construction sector, including cost accounting concepts.

Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with ERP systems, advanced MS Excel skills, and other relevant accounting software.

Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are highly desirable.
